Over the past years, the “Karl-May-Spiele” have become an important part of my life. I have gained valuable experience as an actor, and learnt alot about myself. I have met people that have inspired and motivated me. I have also enjoyed working outdoors, with the chance to do a lot of riding. The connection with the natural environment on the “Kalkberg” reminds me of my homeland Brazil. I would like here, to also express my appreciation to my fans and colleagues for giving me the opportunity to these things.
Since 2002 I have interpreted various roles in Bad Segeberg. I have played the sarcastic “Juanito”, Old Surehand’s brother “Apanatschka”, the wild Indian “Wokadeh” and the choleric Mexican “Player”. These productions have often presented me with new challenges where I have had to extend myself beyond my known boundaries. It has however been worth every minute. The joy I see in the eyes of the audience and their generous applause are a comforting reward. The “Karl-May-Spiele” let us all dream again, and feel that we are part of something special. The audience hardly notice how they become drawn in to another time. They become part of the wild west - surrounded by fantastic stage design, nature, horses, special guest stars and great stalls. This all creates a very special and magical atmosphere.
